Timber pest inspections

Timber Pest Inspection

On a daily basis we are faced with difficult and often complex situations whilst carrying out our inspections. Questions can be raised such as:

  • What type of borer created this frass?
  • What genus of termite is this?
  • Is this a raft/monolithic slab or an infill slab?
  • Am I fulfilling my 'Duty of Care' and reducing the risk of litigation by carrying out the inspection the way I do?

Therefore this Timber Pest Inspection workshop has been developed to provide you with the confidence, or reinforce your current inspection practices. This workshop is a must for those individuals who currently provide, or intend to provide, any type of termite/timber pest inspections and/or treatments.

The workshop will provide clear and simple guidelines on how to identify various borers, wood decay and termites. It will also eliminate any myths in relation to identifying the difference between a raft slab and an infill slab, one of the most crucial and often misunderstood parts of any inspection. Most importantly, the workshop will have a strong focus on the practical side of an inspection.
