Basic Pest Management

Our Basic Pest Management course consists of Units 5, 6 & 18 from Certificate III in Pest Management. This course is offered via our e-learning centre.  This course has been designed to be completed in 8 weeks or less, however students have up to 12 months to complete the course.

Completion of this course enables students to gain their State or Territory Pest Technician licence, except for Western Australia where the full Certificate III course needs to be completed.

The units of this course are:

  • CPPPMT3005 - Modify environment to manage pests
  • CPPPMT3006 - Apply pesticide to manage pests
  • CPPPMT3018 - Maintain an equipment and chemical storage area

The above units have been developed by us into elearning education modules. The modules for this course are:

  • Safety first
  • Pest and managing their environment
  • Pesticide application
  • Legislation
  • Chemical and equipment storage
  • Service Operations
  • Calculations

To achieve competency in this course students need to successfully complete all the module assignments and demonstrate competency at a practical assessment which is undertaken at a location suitable and convenient for the student.

Whilst undertaking this course students have unlimited access to our qualified trainers and assessors for support and assistance.
